Upload doesn't contain images error(Twitter links):

Anybody else experiencing this error for all Twitter link uploads today? Even if the twitter post has already been uploaded it still says it can’t find the post when doing direct link from a tweet.

I have the same issue. Including if it’s already uploaded.

My guess is that it's the update to the twitter API, it's the same reason most twitter links don't embed on discord properly anymore either.

Since a few hours ago, it has not been possible to read tweets without logging in. I suppose it broke the integration with most third-party services.

Ah I see. Hopefully it can resolved it seems like Twitter itself is kinda messed up at least on my end.

I was having this issue earlier so I had to upload using the direct the image link and add the usual source link after.

Now Twitter is almost completely on the fritz and I have no idea what is going on.

Yeah Twitter is down and is a very widespread issue right now. Hopefully things will be resolved soon

Depends on where you are. I can access Twitter fine in my part of the world. Even Tweetdeck works fine.

Twitter now requires an account to view tweets and accounts are now limited to viewing a small number of tweets per day:

To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation, we’ve applied the following temporary limits:

- Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day
- Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day
- New unverified accounts to 300/day

There's not much we can do about this, we could switch between multiple accounts but depending on how competent Twitter is they'll just get banned.

I looks like Twitter will be collapsing in the not-so-far future. I'd suggest the admins look into accepting Instagram as a source, since I know that a lot of artists have their accounts. But it's not really that great, since Instagram basically doesn't allow NSFW stuff, so I think we're just kinda fucked.

I think they fired all their competent people, so it's worth giving a shot for now.

The top is so non-competent it's more likely to be resolved by the reveral of the policy.
They've already had to go from 300/600/6000 to 400/800/8000

that sounds more like doubling down than anything.

Seems things are working again on both Twitter and with Twitter link uploads.

It can still upload for me via the bookmarklet if you click open image in new tab first, then put the full source in.

For those who want to upload twitter videos, you can download gallery-dl, sign in to twitter in the config, then use gallery-dl -o metadata=1 --dump-json to get the mp4 link

Is this really a "temporary" thing? I worry these limits will end up being permanent, maybe as a means to make people have to pay up for the highest view limit.
