PLEASE bring back related wiki tags for gen tags or even just a userscript, or builder+ thing. I just found out about this over on discord so I'll just copypaste what I said there.

How the hell does the related -> wiki function work when uploading? I just went ahead and wrote a wiki for a character to include their commonly related tags (appearance, armor, etc) and it won't show up. PLEASE tell me it's not that gen tags aren't included. Is there an option/userscript/etc to include gentags? Maybe something by @BrokenEagle98. Tried redoing the upload again.... it's to avoid bloat from multiple characters under frequent tags

Or at the very least can we have some sort of way to manage groups of tags to make frequent actually readable when dealing with multiple characters? eg in the aforementioned case I wanted to be able to tag whether the character was using a signature weapon or before or after getting turned into a monster.

Maybe the ability to have a collapsible under frequent tags?

Related, the reasoning is explained here:

Ability to make "my uploads" default to unposted? And make it so that it labels pixel-perfect duplicates as posted? And also to not put 2 of the same image when I forgot I already used the same link before, instead just bring it to the top.

Adding another +1 to bringing the +/- back, they were very handy for quickly adding more tags to current searches without needing to start typing. Having to either fully type out or use the tiny dropdown list for tags is more inconvenient now that the feature was removed.

What if instead of underscore for tags we used space. And in between separate tags is a double space? Are there any mid-2000's website technical reasons why this wouldn't work? It'd be easier on tagging on mobile at least.

Checking back on this thread later than I should've, but I'll also add a +1 to bringing back the +/- feature for tags, perhaps as a toggleable feature for Gold+ members. While I understand that you can just type the relevant tags into the searchbar, it generally made searching for specific results that much quicker when looking for specific fanarts, and I dearly miss that feature.

I can't even imagine the nightmare of having to distinguish between one space or multiple spaces.

Plus lots of phones have double space as a shortcut for ". ", so typing it would be nearly impossible anyway.

You just backspace to make sure like on regular documents. I imagine there would no functional difference to a double space and any number of spaces afterwards i.e. triple-space or spamming space.

It would make it a bit easier to not have to click the number menu, then alt number button, misclicking then backspacing, just for the underscore. I know most wouldn't use it so it would be best put in as a toggle in settings. Probably under a "not recommended" warning.

Edit: Talking about MOBILE for users who didn't see the first part.

There's probably an easier way to access underscore on your keyboard by changing some setting.
For example on Gboard you can enable "long press for symbols" in preferences, then you can type an underscore by long-pressing F.

+1 on bringing back the +/- functionality for tags. Personally it made bouncing between different variations of a search very smooth. Taking the reasoning for removing the option into account, it would be nice if it were available as a toggle you can turn on/off in your personal options, with it set to off by default so that it doesn't bother people who don't know how to use or don't care about the functionality.

Clicking on a tag that's already checked in the "Recent" section on post edit will now search the tag instead of uncheck it. Is this a new feature? Or a browser thing? I only just noticed it, it's so annoying.

I’m questioning the same. If I mistakenly click on a tag I don’t need, I now have to remove it manually, or else I will lose my edit when it jumps to the tag search, not to mentions the (many) times I misclicked. All of that makes my editing process clunky and very annoying. I hope we will get an answer on whether or not it is intentional, because if it is, it’s an unnecessary and honestly stupid change.

It works fine for me on Chrome. Have you tried without any userscript? What browser are you using?

I’m on Safari, so the browser is Google? But now it works fine for me again so I guess it was a bug. Or maybe because I just updated my device to a newer version.
