Danbooru have two basic pages with upload instructions: howto:upload and help:upload.
From /uploads/new we redirect to Help with Help button (menu). Other pages sometime send to howto:upload.
Some of the information is duplicated and the transfer between the reference pages makes it difficult to perceive the information.
Visually, I slightly edited the perception of information, but the main question remained open: to eliminate data fragmentation.
I suggest:
Make the page help:upload a reference only for the functionality of the page /uploads/new.
There will be a description of the buttons and blocks on the download page with a link to the appropriate wiki as needed.
Examples:
The counter Upload Limit on top page allows the number of occupied places to download images.
The block Fetch source data allows you to request and receive information about the image before it's upload.
howto:upload add information that is on the page help:upload.
Basically, this division already exists, but the abundance of intermediate information can make it difficult to familiarize yourself with the help:upload page. At the same time, some of the information is outdated or missing. The topic is more focused on identifying the flaws of each of the wikis in order to accept appropriate changes.
