I think it would be a nice feature to automatically vote an image down if you hide it from the mod queue. It gets annoying very quickly when I have to click vote down and then hide post.
Maybe it's just me though.

Disagree. There are posts I ain't gonna approve, but I don't feel strongly about them, and there are posts I want to bury. Auto-downvoting would be very harmful for this distinction. Not to mention that every once in a while I accidentally click "Hide" instead of "Approve", because they're right next to each other, and recovering 5 points is a pain.
