Batch uploader statement timeout

Posted under Bugs & Features

I want to upload some images, and the batch uploader is the best way to do this, but I've been getting an error every time:

ERROR: canceling statement due to statement timeout

I get this every time, with every image I try. I've looked at other threads about this same error, but they seem to be about errors while searching tags.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

When you say "batch uploader," do you mean the batch version of the official bookmarklet or a different tool? Which step in the upload process are you getting the error? (If using the bookmarklet, for example, is it after you click it? After you click one of the individual images? After you click submit on the individual page?)

Yes, the bookmarklet at danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/batch?url=<url>

Putting a url in <url> will bring up thumbnails of the images associated with the link, and usually clicking on a thumbnail would bring me to a page for tagging and submitting it, but instead that page has the statement timeout error.

This is probably not your problem since you're talking about a statement timeout, but just to be sure - are you directly opening the /uploads/batch url without going through the javascript bookmarklet? If yes, are you urlencoding your url? (For pixiv that would be for example https://danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/batch?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pixiv.net%2Fmember_illust.php%3Fmode%3Dmedium%26illust_id%3D67039182 instead of https://danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/batch?url=https://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=60819270)

@BrokenEagle98 sure: Here's a urlencoded image from pixiv that's associated with the images I want to post (well, I'm not sure if these have been posted before, but I would usually find that out by browsing the artist that the uploader suggests):

https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pixiv.net%2Fmember_illust.php%3Fmode%3Dmedium%26illust_id%3D61855467

(this is not an actual url, because it's been encoded)

Here's the batch uploader url:

http://danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/batch?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pixiv.net%2Fmember_illust.php%3Fmode%3Dmedium%26illust_id%3D61855467

And here's the url of one of the images:

http://danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/new?ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pixiv.net%2Fmember_illust.php%3Fmode%3Dmedium%26illust_id%3D61855467&url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.pximg.net%2Fimg-original%2Fimg%2F2017%2F03%2F11%2F18%2F23%2F50%2F61855467_p1.png

This is the page with the "statement timeout error".

This is one example, but every url I've tried has resulted in the same error.

@ygm_1 Can you post the error messages you're getting. I can't replicate it with my account since I have a higher timeout.

Edit:

Nevermind... I've been told that Member-level accounts don't get access to full backtraces... le sigh... ;_;

Updated

@evazion Started yesterday, after the emergency maintenance downtime. Before that I was able to upload perfectly fine. I figured it was a result of the site getting more traffic than usual just when it came up, but it persisted to today.

@BrokenEagle98 It just says "ERROR: canceling statement due to statement timeout" I should note that it loads for 3-4 seconds before this shows up.
