error when uploading webm

An error occurred: error: NoMethodError - undefined method `empty?' for nil:NilClass

re-uploading doesn't work. Seems to be file-specific. Happened on three webms out of 12.

I get ignored whenever I've asked for an early server update in the past, doubt this time would be any different.
