Deletion request for post #1691920

I'm making this request on behalf of Necromnicon, the guy who commissioned post #1691920 on DA (the artist is penett). He got it commissioned for some commercial purpose. The image was initially posted on DA without the DA watermark (mistake by the artist), and this was the image that got uploaded here. The image was later updated on DA (with the big ol' DA watermark in the centre).

Necromnicon did get the image banned here, but of course it can still be downloaded (via the 'size' option); only the status is changed to "Banned". He wants to know if the image can be completely deleted from the site (since it's for commercial purposes and he doesn't want others to use it as they please). His claim is valid since the original DA image has also been updated, and he got the image deleted from other boorus (Kona, etc). The non-watermaked image is only available here, and that kinda defeats his purpose.

Thus, a request to the mods, if the image can be double deleted (purged/removed completely) from Danbooru, please do it.

The "Commercial Purpose" was the offline image for a twitch streamer and as such I'm inclined to say no. Like 30% of the art here was for one commercial purpose or another. However you may PM jxh2154 and/or albert and make the case to them as albert owns the site and defers most forum issues to jxh.

And though you're right about many posts having commercial purposes, the guy did pay for the piece. I guess it's his right if he doesn't want it available everywhere.

I'm personally super iffy on this whole "not actually deleting art from banned artists" practice anyway, but the handling of that is not my decision to make. I did double-delete this particular image though, since it's a one-off and easier to make that call than on an established artist. Just keep in mind once something is double-deleted, that frees it up to be uploaded again. I don't have a way of just hiding its visibility 100%.

I'm curious now. Why did this post get completely taken off the site (I can't even view it as a deleted post) But many other images removed by artist request are still viewable on the site under the "Banned Artist Tag" and with deleted posts.
