I accidentaly uploaded this pic from the banned artist. post #4575991
This is no problem, if you add the artist-tag while uploading (which you did). As a builder you can see such image, so nothing needs to be done in this case.
This artist ( nan_(gokurou) ) has multiple images uploaded with a watermark that says to not repost without permission. Didn't want to flag spam so I figured I could post here for someone to look into it

The artist themself has to directly reach out to us if they want their works removed. So from what I know, do not distribute watermarks and warnings are disregarded unless they're sourced from a paid reward site, which the posts I glanced at from the artist don't.

Willingly ignoring that seems like it'd be breaking copyright but I'm no lawyer

They post their art on a public site like Pixiv, where it's free and not locked behind any paywall. A message on their image isn't gonna stop some people, maybe even most people, from downloading and redistributing the art if they so please. Besides, we properly credit them on Danbooru anyway, with links back to the original source and to their profiles.

That means nothing. When someone creates their own piece of art, they own the copyright to it. Again, not a lawyer, but, taking a copyright image that someone has stated you don't have the right to use it and using it anyway seems like it would be against copyright. The point of artist ban requests is to establish plausible deniability on the part of the website that they weren't aware the artist didn't want it shared. You can't plausibly deny that when the image and commentary both state to not share it

Well regardless, that's how danbooru is run. If they want their works removed, they have to get in contact with an admin.
