The forums look pretty active, but I've noticed a lot less content being posted over the last few months. Can anyone confirm if (hopefully not) this is in fact happening and why?

I'm not seeing a decline. More like a slight increase.

I generally feel the site apparently "slow down" when content I'm not interested in is on the rise. For instance, I initially had no interest in Kantai Collection and when the Touhou posts slowed as KanColle ones increased, the site seemed to me to be slowing down. Having finally fallen for the shipgirls, everything feels back up to pace. That could entirely be up to the fact that I hug the comments page and my tag subscriptions, however.
