Small Favoriting Bug?

I don't know if this has been reported already, but I noticed when I favorite some posts the favorite count for that post goes up by 2. This seems to happen more when I'm surfing pools like Kogasa's comic and favoriting multiple comics in a streak.

It isn't a big problem; I've went back to check the favorite count of the same post a day later and it returns to normal, I think. But if someone has time for a small check...here is something.

Oh, so I'm not the only one, as I can confirm this. Though, I thought that it may be just a coincidence, i.e., that someone has favorited the post a few seconds before I did. But it happens way too often.

I thought so too, but you could actually unfavorite the post and see the count drop by 2, and favorite again and see the bug happen again. There's no way someone in the world is doing the exact same thing you're doing just like that.

Yep. As I said, it happens way too often - to be a coincidence, that is.

I think there used to be a feature where if a user is certain level or higher, then their votes or favorites count twice. Don't quote me on that though.

No, that's still just one point for favorites, you could give a second one with upvoting, though.

Mods used to get double-value upvotes until shortly after the janitor system was introduced but albert did away with that for reasons.

The problem reported in this thread isn't a feature, it's a bug. Also the bug doesn't actually increase the score or favorites twice, it only looks like it does.

Yep, same occurs to me.
