Character Profiles

Would there be value added in translating the character profiles of an artist's original character and putting that information on that character's Danbooru wiki page? If so, should the original source and text of the profile be included as well?

Perhaps just to clarify, sometimes artists' original character profiles are on their personal websites in the form of text (usually Japanese), and aren't embedded into any picture. I could link the page, but then it would still be untranslated for those interested.

You could put the individual character profiles onto the character wikis? Certainly if the artist went through the effort of giving the character an intricate backstory they bothered giving a name.

Just to give you an idea of what it could look like, I took one example that I recently encountered and modified the character wiki for it.

Poniko_(Lielos)

The translated profile is in the section "Character Profile". The section heading contains a hyperlink to the original untranslated character profile page. Also, I modified the translation slightly, changing "this site" to "Lielos' site", to avoid confusion since "this site" is Danbooru.

I think there's value added with the extra info, and it's not terribly long like a typical Wiki page. Unless there's any objection, I'll do it like I showed with other original character profiles I encounter from now on.
