This is taking 'misuse' to a whole new dimension though. Ah, granted, the original passage is "the strong preys upon the weak" which is actually rather different from survival of the fittest. But "strong lives, weak dies" is a common misconception about survival of the fittest anyway, so I'll let that pass.
Well, the biggest problem I have is how Byakuren says that humans decided on the survival of the fittest though.

Well, our society is almost like that nowadays so Byakuren's not entirely wrong.
