Translation request thread

Posted under General

Would any translators be willing to help me proofread post #2042307? It's already translated, but I want to improve the readability of it (and also to make it look good). I'd do it solo, but my grasp of Japanese is non-existent, so I really wouldn't be able to tell if I'm fixing it or butchering it.

A few more KC comics I'd like to request, especially those that would finish translations.

  • post #2027245 (comic page, no translation 4 bubbles, 24 days old, next page was already translated)
  • post #2024171 (comic, 3 bubbles left, last updated nearly a month ago)
  • post #1929305 (comic page, 2 large bubbles left, last note change ~1.5 months ago)
  • post #1976396 (comic, 2 minor background bubbles left, last updated nearly 2 months ago)
  • post #1802098 (4koma, really only 1 bubble left to translate, last note change 3 months ago)
  • post #1835419 (comic, last text box untranslated, last update over 3 months ago)
  • post #1740234 (comic, essentially no translation, last page of a series, last updated around 11 months ago)
  • post #1731420 (comic, 1 bubble left, last note was added nearly a year ago)
  • post #1649152 (comic, 2 minor background text untranslated, last note update 1 year+)
  • post #1626458 (wordy 4koma, 1 bubble left, last note change 2 months ago)

Updated

Is there a standard way to add a translator's note to the "Artist's commentary" field? I was concerned this method looks silly: post #2068020
Sorry. Perhaps I should just drop the note and re-word it in a militaristic way to get the message across. Maybe like "Sixth Chibi deployed at the zoo" or something. I looked through the wiki and there wasn't any mention of translator's notes specifically for commentary.

Use the "tn" dtext tag.

[tn]Translation note[/tn]

becomes Translation note
