Getting rid of hyper specific Clownpiece tag

Posted under Tags

BUR #24154 has been rejected.

mass update american_flag_dress -> american_flag_print print_dress
nuke american_flag_dress

Single character tag that is not even implicated to the main print tag, unlike american_flag_legwear or american_flag_bikini this tag is almost exclusively used by Clownpiece and is just another way of searching for the hell fairy.

BUR #24155 has been rejected.

create implication american_flag_dress -> american_flag_print
create implication american_flag_dress -> print_dress

Your mass update wouldn't nuke the American Flag Dress tag, which I think is your intention. Here's an implication BUR, I don't like when we nuke valid tagging concepts just because one character that has them is more popular than the rest.

There are 10 posts under american_print_dress -clownpiece. More than, say, american print neckwear. How would one look for those posts with american_print_dress nuked?

8 actually two were clear mis-tags for a leotard and sweater. I'malso not sure if post #6668443 counts as american_flag either though it's red, white and blue.

And I maintain it'd be print_x + american_flag_print I don't see the value in a tag that is .02% other characters and overwhelmingly a padding tag for Clownpiece. It was made for Clownpiece, she is the only one who uses it.

That being said if it is to exist it does need to implicate american_flag_print so I agree with your BUR in that regard.

Okay, a few were mistags. But why did you remove post #7079711? That's clearly a backless dress.
Well, no matter. I found some more applicable posts. Turns out that MK23 (Girls' Frontline) has a costume which features an American flag dress, and people occassionally draw genderbent Captain America like this.

In any case, I am soon going to submit implications for other american_flag_* tags. However, we have some troublesome ones - legwear, neckwear, hat and swimsuit, all of which fall outside our modern tagging schemes (split legwear, neckwear and swimsuit; too-specific hat), so those will need special attention.

imply american_flag_swimsuit -> american_flag_print
imply american_flag_swimsuit -> print_swimsuit
