Ambiguous tag that is a mix of nail polish, painting nails and other assorted tags.

There's also pedicure but that's not as easy. Most posts of painting nails are for fingernails, so we may need painting toenails to be able to replace pedicure.

Manicure makes me think of painting nails as the first thing that springs to mind. Would an alias to painting nails be a viable solution as opposed to nuking, considering you're mass updating it anyway? Solves the issue of pedicure too (alias pedicure -> painting toenails).

That's my only real issue here. Otherwise, I'm for this.

The issue is that technically it also applies to things like filing nails or cutting them. So it should really be called applying manicure, but that means it'll overlap with 99% of painting nails.

Ah, I see. Manicures do involve those too. Welp, sorry manicure, I like you as a word, but you're a terrible tag. I suppose we can create something like "filing nails" for that 1% of posts that fall under manicure but not under painting nails were we to come across any.

The OtherName マニキュア also regularly shows up specifically under Pixiv translated tags under the simple presence of nail polish, which I suspect is the cause of a lot of the mixed usage.

I removed all the pedicure mistags, should be just cutting, filing, and painting now. If we make those individual tags I'll go through and tag them before we nuke pedicure.

Ok, alternative BUR because this got me thinking, is it really that far-fetched for someone to want to see this kind of stuff?

This is partially related to forum #270581.

Rather than nuking manicure/pedicure and having to use three or four different tags to search for someone taking care of their finger/toenails, it's honestly not too bad to keep them as umbrella tags.
