TLDR: These characters are visually similar counterparts of each other, and should be aliased. You can still find them with copyright tags.
Much of the time, the only way to tell the difference between these is because the artist wrote the copyright on the image or in the commentary. In previous topics, the solution was to implicate the manga character tags to their game counterpart tags. However, this was only done for some characters, and is a half-measure that creates unnecessary tag bloat. As an example of precedent, we recently nuked the Pokemon Center Nurse tag because it was being used to represent the game counterpart of Nurse Joy.
If you want to find a cross-media counterpart of any other Pokemon character, you use copyright tags. For example, if I want to find the Pokemon Adventures version of Red, then I search for red_(pokemon) pokemon_adventures. In that respect, this BUR is simply bringing these outliers in line with every other Pokemon character tag.
I've excluded Green and Leaf, as while they're mostly Manga/Game counterparts, Green has appeared in Pokemon RGBY promotional materials and Pokemon LGPE, which means they are technically both game characters. Aliasing them would hurt searchability more significantly.
