There I have to say that it is mistagged with the Smash Bros. Tag, too. There is no indication that these images are based on that game. To be honest, the wedding picture with peach and bowser should be tagged with one of the paper mario games (don't know which, though).

I wouldn't be tagging Nintendo in those - they may be associated with the copyright, but I don't immediately think Nintendo when looking at those, but I think of Mario, Zelda, or something else.
Otherwise we need to start tagging companies for EVERY copyright on Danbooru - Kadokawa for any KanColle images or copyrights, Square-Enix for any DQ or Final Fantasy art, and so on.

Went pretty fast. But there were mostly pics from the artist akairiot who draws a lot of characters from Nintendo (Zelda, Samus, Fire Emblem in general). So most images doesn't fit there in. Some do, but that weren't more than 5 or so.
We can fix those manually. We need to undo the damage from the well-intentioned(?) tag vandalism first.
Now he's gone and started posting princess_zelda on every sheik post and created the young_zelda tag.
Young Zelda is a character that exist (just like Young Link) and Shiek is her alter ego. I see no problems with that. At least not for the usage per se, but for example post #2108156 is not a picture with a young zelda.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before or there's any precedent, but I'm in favour of posts with sheik only being tagged with princess_zelda if she's actually in the picture, such as post #1484723, post #943738, post #519342. By double tagging everything it makes it harder to search for instances of both personas, also despite being the same person they are quite distinct characters in appearance.

So that leaves the young_zelda and young_link tags open.
I said that these characters do exist. But isn't that also the same as a princess_zelda younger search?
But then again, young link and young zelda are only appearing in Ocarina of Time (and Majora's Mask), so these tags wouldn't count for Twilight Princess etc.

I'd suggest to use princess_zelda + younger if this Zelda is not from Ocarina Of Time.
Same for Link.

Nope. That is a "normal" Link :P.
But the older and younger tag should only apply when the character is never in that age canonical, I think
For the OoT Links, the young version is appearing in the story (and in Majora's Mask you only play as young Link). Same for the OoT Zelda.
