The thing Riven's doing, with her thumb tucked beneath her panties. I've seen this pose dozens of times and been frustrated by my inability to find a tag for it. Would a tag like thumb in waistband work?

1. Traditional clothes is the best I can come up with. Its a somewhat touchy subject in Japan due to the Ainu culturecide so its not that common in anime.
Actually, is there currently no tag to tag characters in illustrations according to their ethnicity? No matter if they are American, British, Chinese, Egyptian, or whatever

We have a few race-specific tags: asian, caucasian, very dark skin. They don't get used much because few characters are drawn with features specific to any given ethnic group.
I'd advise against trying to make up tags any more narrow than these, because really, to what extent can you determine a character's racial background just by looking at a picture? Most people don't look that much different from their neighbors, even without taking anime stylization into account.

We have many (insert_nationality_here)_clothes tags, with japanese_clothes being by far the biggest for obvious reasons. traditional_clothes goes well with one of the clothing nationality tags.

Agreed. It’s much easier to categorize the clothes, which is why we have tags for those.

In the previous example they have the ethnicity written on the image itself so it would be possible to tell... Although might be a more generalized tag Austronesian would work instead?

Now there are indian clothes, but that is for the real India. Is there any tag for clothing style from American Aboriginal tribes?

How to tag color band artifacts like post #862822 ? I was going to tag jpg artifact but the image is not jpeg and it is likely caused by video compression

It’s called (color) banding and we don’t have a tag for it, I believe. I wouldn’t tag it on that post, though, because it doesn’t look that noticeable to me. JPEG artifacts should also only be tagged if they’re noticeable when viewing the post normally.

Is there an existing tag for wildfires?
Created the wildfire tag, but it seems weird to me that it didn't exist until now.

Could it also be zouni soup? I'm not sure how you can tell when the mochi is the only thing visible, but we've tagged it like this before: post #2315724, post #2588929, post #2608601...

I found several examples of wildfires, but none had any tag for it besides fire, so there probably wasn't any other tag for this already. It could be helpful though, since any outdoors fire or nature fire search has dozens of false positives.

I had honestly forgotten about that tag, that or I never knew about it. I just remember that stretchy, white food stuff eaten from bowl around new years is mochi.

That's a hagoita.
Underwear is definitely a thong. Not sure about the specifics, though.

Doesn't look like a thong to me at all. More like some kind of hybrid between an o-ring bottom and a rokushaku fundoshi.
