tag for when your nose turns red from cold

I tagged it with red_nose, but that's almost unused, so I guess there's another tag for it? Can't really think of anything though.

I think rosy_nose or flushed_nose could work, at least they are somewhat more descriptive of the condition, and draw parallels to rosy_cheeks and flush. Neither of those tags are currently in use at all though.

A search for *_nose doesn't reveal anything else currently in use that would work.

I don't believe there is a current tag for it, and I'm not particularly fond of either of Shinji's suggestions, not that I can think of one myself.

I think red_nose is fine, I believe it is more common to refer to is simply as a red nose than rosy or flushed.

Just as a note, we should probably also include noses red from things such as inebriation or embarrassment in this tag's scope, rather than just from cold exposure.

We have drunk and blush already, but they don't don't necessarily imply red noses by themselves. It's also the exact same physiological mechanism that causes the condition in each case.

That'd be ambiguous, though. cold is used for depicting people in cold environments, not for people who have a red nose because of the flu.

Also red noses from colds are usually due to runny noses and having been rubbed. Red noses from cold exposure are due to blood rushing to the surface after returning to a warm room. People in the latter case are usually not sick.

I agree. I was trying to avoid having to make a judgement call whether the nose was red due to it being cold or due to having a cold (or indeed for other reasons). I think it's ideal to put them all under one more or less objective "visual" tag.
