It seems that some images in my tag subscriptions aren't showing up at all. I haven't changed my subscriptions and I'm sure it was working fine earlier. Is anyone else having this problem or am I the weird one of the bunch.

Sigh. This is a pre-existing bug that has become more noticeable due to a patch I stole from moe.imouto to fix the issues with blacklist flicker. I'm pretty sure this bug affects moe.imouto as well. I'll submit a fix when I have time.
