I don't know if the from_behind tag has been discussed or not, but it's a tag that's been bothering me lately. It seems that most users of the tag implement it mostly for sex done in the rear, rather than the angle which the subject is being viewed at in a picture (such as the from_above and from_below tags). I've changed the wiki article to be more neutral and anatomical, but I'd like to hear what the community has to say.

I believe from_behind was originally intended to be for the sexual position. The from_above and from_below tags indicating POV came later. Put together I suppose it does sound inconsistent.
I think a revamp might be in order. We already have the doggystyle tag for the sexual position anyways.

Indeed. See forum #11911. from_behind has been around a long time, and I didn't really think of the inconsistency there when I made my suggestion in the thread I just linked. Sex "from behind" can include positions other than doggystyle, though (and shouldn't that have an underscore or hyphen in it, by the way?), so I don't think a mass edit or the like is in order, however.
I suggest creating a view_from_behind tag for the viewpoint, using from_behind for the sexual position, and aliasing from_below and from_above to view_from_below and view_from_above, respectively.
Those tags are unwieldy to use, not to mention that it was already resolved in the thread 0xCCBA696 linked. Besides, there are already tags about doing the deed from behind, such as doggystyle, spitroast, and reverse_cowgirl. I'm not saying it should be explicitly non-sexual, just more consistent with the other from_* tags; an example would be post #413255, where you have doggystyle with the behind perspective.
Hmm. Having it work in the same sense as from_above and from_below would be good, but I can see why it'd immediately be thought of as a sexual tag.
If we want to leave it sexual I don't really mind, it's not like the from_behind perspective necessarily even needs to be tagged.
I do on occasion wish to search for back views of characters, so having from_behind in the same sense as from_above and from_below would be very helpful. There's looking back which returns some of the results I want, but it doesn't have the same exact meaning.
OTOH as has already been pointed out, there's no shortage of tags for the sexual position(s).
