Concerning favourites

Posted under General

I've searched for existing topics about this issue, but I wasn't quite lucky with it. Or I just didn't find them.

This might be a bit of a noobish question, but after fifteen pages of favourites any new favourite I add pushes the oldest one out. Is that supposed to happen?

Regular members are limited to a certain number of favorites. I don't remember what the exact number is.

What? Since when? I remember this being discussed, but I also remember there being huge opposition to it.

Is there actually a real limit with images being pushed out or is it still stored but just inaccessible to regular users? I'm seeing about 17 pages of favorites with Athal. Additionally it makes me somewhat curious about something.

Hmm, you're right, I see all 17. But I guess they're not visible to people without an upgraded account.

I've got 30 pages, I'm just a normal member and last time I checked my favs didn't suddenly 'go away' or any of the sort. besides that, I can see all of Athal's pages fine

Edit, just checked for control, 29 pages and 4 pictures on page 30

Which means 584 (29x20+4) pictures
My profile says I've got 586 favourites, 2 off is within the realm of possibility. (Deleted?, whatever)

Seems there's no limit for normal members

I thought that it was done when albert first introduced the privileged account level, along with the new search tag limit. I suppose I could've read it wrong though.

Ah, you go away for your stupid twelve hour graveyard shift and people solve the mind puzzle that has been bothering me.

... nice change of grammatical person? Who's "you"?

And btw, if I understand albert correctly, you can just edit the URL and change "page=[some number]" to "page=[some number + 1]", and you should be able to see the "lost pages" of your favorites.

Despite not being on topic with that, I meant myself with that. Though, I do not see how that little artistic slip is bothering you. :P

Edit: On-Topic:

My 'old' favourites have returned and it's not longer 'stuck' on page fifteen.
Seems I was just impatient as hell!
