Hell, until after WW2 everyone fired pistols one handed. Unless you're shooting a huge caliber gun like a 500 magnum, or you have wrist damage you won't have any issues firing a pistol one handed.

The fact they think her arm will break from recoil shows they don't know anything about what they are talking about.

The reason some air pistol shooters put their offhand in a pocket is so they can be in a relaxed stance as much as possible, as a stiff muscle causes for jittery movement and thus will throw your aim off.

I've shot air pistols for a bit, got 2nd place in a local university-level competition event, but that's about it. It's been a decade since, but it seems things haven't changed that much.

Two handed shooting stances are for combat shooting. Thus the recoil can be compensated for quick fire. Precision is of lesser importance. Target shooters almost always use one hand, standing sideway to the target. This enables them to have an optimal line of sight along the outstretched arm. Recoil throwing the gun out of the sighting line doesn't matter, because the rate of fire also doesn't.

The same Fudds who'd go 'She can't use a 9mm glock lets get her a .357 snubnosed instead'

.357 snubnoses are typically made of steel instead of the lighter aluminum-framed .38 snubnoses. Plenty of fudds still recommend carrying a .357 snub with .38 specials, since the two cartridges are one-way interchangable. That combo will recoil considerably less than .38 in an aluminum frame. There is some validity to it, but with how reliable and soft shooting modern 9mm sub-compacts are, it's still pretty fudd-y. The M&P Shield and P365 are downright pleasant to shoot versus snappy snubnoses.

    context:
when touhou 16 was officially uploaded to steam, several users uploaded their fangames as well.
one of the first was โ€œไธœๆ–น่ƒ–ๆฌกไบ‰ๅคบๆˆ˜ TouHou Pants Contestโ€ which stood out for being one of the first touhou games with adult content in Steam.
well, it turns out that the author did not upload the game.
someone uploaded a pirated copy and translated with google translator.
when this came to light, the real author made this fanart.

So, then what level is the Tarnished, considering they beat Radahn and then also the only person to stalemate him?

By the time the Tarnished fights him, he's been severely weakened by the Scarlet Rot so his level would've been way lower during that fight.
Malenia was equal to him in strength when they fought, and her level was definitely higher than his when she unleashed the Scarlet Rot.

@RedMoonGod : Her death was to good and deserved.

The comedic potential are also hard to ignore.

Between smug villain we get take down by an ironic and humiliating way, the divergence were she get even more humiliate by doing mondain thing and just the crossover material.

I'm going ahead of the time, but I'm fairly certain that her death is going to become one of the iconic finisher in pop culture history and peolple will still talk aboot it, years after the series finish.

As for me, I am just bothered by that stupid haircut. Seriously, is that the only female hairstyle that exists these days?

It's the "strong independent woman" hairstyle. If your female character doesn't have that haircut, it won't work with the social media centric fanbase.

"People who aren't even fans" haven't changed a thing. It's the company doing it, the same company and people that have been in charge all along. This mindset is how you get dipshits on twitter calling Gary Chalk a tourist. The Custodes references to being all male were always hand in hand with them being a mysterious organization that we knew next to nothing about, Aaron Bowden said years ago that it wasn't intended for there to be the impression of absolutes in whether Custodes were male exclusive, but that he was told not to write about female Custodes for the sole reason that they hadn't yet produced a relevant line of miniatures to sell along with characters. On that note one of the commonly cited passages about their recruitment is even followed by the in universe admission that the person writing doesn't actually know anything for real, because the Custodes do not talk to anyone about their practices. For almost the entire Imperium they are a collection of gold-clad warriors that defend the Emperor, and they know nothing more. Even those who chanced to see one would never know more than that it was a Custodes.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Entire factions have come, gone, or changed their core characterization with less than a shit given. The culture warriors who openly admit they'll abandon Warhammer unless GW throw in the towel and follow their political allegiance to the letter aren't the people who like female custodes being introduced, they're the ones complaining now, quitting now, and wishing for the downfall of something they claim to love now, because it introduced an infinitesimal detail to a handful of characters in a vast universe. And they join in with a pile of genuine non-fans who are making YouTube video after YouTube video to grift off of it.

Frankly if those people want to portray it as an "outsiders come in" problem, which is patently ridiculous given that many on the opposite side have been around for decades, buying figures, books, playing games either in person or digital, being fans of the work rather than toxic on twitter for clout; then even in their own version of events THEY have fucked themselves over by spending years screaming that they'll gatekeep and slam the doors shut on anyone else, which makes them utter dead weight to a corporate entity. Corporations love growth. They love fans that make other people want to be fans. They are categorically going to tune out a bunch of fans that scream to the heavens that they want the opposite.

    problem is
this entire sutuation is bcs GW wants cheap investment money and dont care about thier fans, lore and all that stuff. Classic corpo thing.

Yes, they want money. That has been the case for decades. They care about their fans as the same as always. The problem, such that it is, is that a group of fans think they are the ONLY fans when they're not. Hell, forget it being that they're the only ones. A huge chunk of the people trying to turn back the clock have no interest in Warhammer at all! The amount of times this week alone I have seen A call B tourist because they aren't mad about female Custodes, only for A to eventually admit they aren't even in the hobby at all, is crazy. Or to respond to somebody posting their models accusing them of being the problem with Warhammer just because they're a woman or gay or trans or whatever the hell else. There's so much that could be complained about with how the franchise is being run, especially in regards to community outreach and how they've treated people who have created things that do more to draw in new fans than ever before, that it blows my mind people are snapping over this. Which does not actually matter.

The whole stuff is super hilarious to me because the lore changes ALL the time with constant rewrites, retcons and whatnot since the second edition decades ago.
Remember Squats who is rewritten to become the Leagues of Votann? or Leman Russ being an ordinary Space Marine in the 1st edition?.

Also calling GW greedy solely because female Custodes is just peak tourist behavior to me.
Like holy shite people who actually in the hobby even a little knew this already since a long time ago.
I weep for AdMech players every day.

Admittedly the way GW handled it could be better, but this is a company who let Matt Ward under their employment, so competence aren't their strong suit.
Ultimately IT DOES NOT MATTER like the person above me said.
FemCustodes would probably be retconned in 10 years or so because GeeDubs wanted to cut corners not sculpting new models for them.

My favorite is the Bretonnians, first a highly decadent society functionally existing as a great big Slaneshi cult, then a "Chivalric" society of Arthurian Questing Knights that float somewhere between "Noble but disconnected to the peasants" and "Downright thinks their horses are more human than peasants are".

A bloody classic, can tell the artist know how to play the game lmao and the damn memes. Also there is a Battlecruiser from Starcraft lmao...

I see a classic engineer on half-truck rush, with engineer already in "progress" of capturing a War Factory a terror drone as bonus lol
There is a fking Mirage Tank "hidden" in the middle of Soviet Base lol. also Tanya Miku lol

Takoluka as a Giant Squid raping a destroyer and that lone Kirov looks more scarier than what it was depicted in game
That Attack Miku Inu nabbing that Spy.

Strange there is no Chrono Legionnaire and SEAL, since those are fun and a pain if not dealt with.

loving the detail of that mind controlled GI from the Yuri across the other side
    Edit:
I'm guessing that's the Cob Cannon from Plants versus Zombies and I finally recognized the chrono'd army dump to the river at the background

Yeah and that same GI isn't gonna live very long too

Also it's hard to notice the chrono sphere being activated in the "sea" and yeah the classic move of "teleporting" the enemy army straight to trash.

Makes sense, we grow up as people, and then demand the franchises we liked as kids keep up with us.
Sometimes we should just let go of things that no longer appeal to us, instead of insisting and carrying on while fed up with them.

They've shown they can do real challenge, though, and most players remember specifically those moments fondly. Everyone remembers being terrorized by Cynthia's competitive level Garchomp, everyone remembers that one hiker with three explosion using geodudes especially the nuzlockers. No one remembers the hundreds of practically nameless trainers that get sweeped in five seconds in-between gyms. I don't think it's asking a lot that the important battles actually have a difficulty appropriate to their importance, even if it still ended up being relatively child friendly.

The real problem with SV is that they didn't even bother to account for players not doing things in the "intended" order, despite the fact it's an open world game. On top of an untogglable EXP share further cutting any challenge that might exist. You're either fighting a trainer well above your level without warning, or you're fighting a trainer with lv10 pokemon because you're doing an "early game" area last without meaning to.

This is by far the most corporate looking Patreon watermark I've ever seen. I'm honestly impressed.

I happened across the same logo (less prominent) at the end of post #6794913, but with different individuals involved. I guess the Patreon (and the Twitter account this is from) belongs to artist Merryweather, who seems to be a writer collaborating with (or commissioning?) other artists.

And beyond learning the basics of combat and how element, type of skills and damage vs hit works. Is it really a challenge for a child?

Even with Kanto dificulty curve with a rock gym first and the electricity gym next, the challenge is just grinding and keep fighting your way up. Unless the later Pokemon games got a serious AI upgrade or tracking your team to counter it's attacks, even a first timer will begin to stomp the game after the third gym.

Merryweather is a writer, not an artist. Although I feel that tagging him for the comic he wrote is like tagging wilsonthegreen for kinkymation's Pokemusu series (pool #16659).

    Edit:
Before this being brought up in the forum, either we start tagging the writers of a series/comic as an artist tag (like the aforementioned "wilsonthegreen". Hell, we should start tagging commissioners at this point), create a new tag for writers, or not tagging them at all.

I dunno, I thought people all thought Team Star, Turo/Sada, and every single boss fights in Indigo Disk were appropriately challenging enough. Wolfey of all people, lost to champion level Nemona.

Even in this case with Iono, she did have a tera-elec Levitate mon as her ace, which is a decent enough challenge for an early game gym. Not notorious as Whitney's Miltank, but decent enough that you can't just spam starter STAB over and over and win.

Yes the trainer fights have been absolutely forgettable, but that's more of the issue that in previous games, trainers challenge you on sight and can be hard to avoid, therefore even with forgettable trainers, it's a challenge of endurance on how many of these mooks you can mow down before you'll feel desperate for a Pokemon Center.

But in SV all overworld trainers are now fully optional, healing items literally respawning, fly being accessible almost right away, and having Koraidon/Miraidon it's hard to ever feel that pressure ever again.

At least in turn they also do have those trainers with black speech bubbles who will always be a mini-boss level challenge in themselves, so I guess it also wouldn't be fair to say they're not trying to offset the difficulty some other way.
