By attacking him. It's nice that she stopped ogling, but hitting that poor fucker in the face with her staff surely wasn't needed? I feel like I'm watching Scarlet O'Hara slaps her younger sister after she throws a tantrum and claims she hates the family farm because she has to work while Scarlet had to cross a frontline and avoid raiders to get home. It's nice that Marcille realized staring is baaad, but hitting someone in the face with a blunt weapon is still an attack. If that was in my party in D&D, you can be sure the sword would come out of the sheath and Marcille's player would be rerolling a new character, hopefully without the misandrism.
I agree that the reaction is just pointlessly violent and doesn't get anywhere.
But my point is: this is still very much at the level of a joke, a bad joke and unacceptable one, but shouldn't guarant so much criticism.

This guy stares one second longer than I do, clearly I am better than him and it is my responsibility to whack him
You are right, this is just a bad joke but still a joke...
But with how things are happening lately, I feel like I have fallen down to political correct level and can't just laugh at joke anymore
damn.. I miss when I was still able to
As do I.
I was once able to have a chuckle at this pointless and thoughtless joke. Really wish I could go back to that kind of thinking.
