And again, before someone tries to spam the yuri tag nonsense....
The character designer for the Nanoha franchise, Okuda Yasuhiro, is getting married. Or he's married already and we're celebrating. ( >∀<)ノノ"☆パチパチパチパチ
Hooray! Ship tease! (Nevermind the RL reason) And they had to use the colour of the other one's eyes for the flowers. As if the theme itself isn't enough... well, I take what I get: Yay, Nanofate!
Can you blame us? Every time NanoFate comes up in a comments thread, it always ALWAYS ALWAYS devolves into a giant fuck-off flame war. I don't care who's right and who's not anymore Tomoyo, don't start this shit again or I swear to god I will find a way to reach through my screen and strangle you from across the internet.
Whoooah there, Comartemis. Let me be the rare NanoFate-ist voice of reason here for a bit. I understand your frustration with NanoFate fanatics. I've even gotten into a few arguments with them over some of their more ridiculous beliefs and even have had HOMOPHOBE name thrown at me in response. Hell, I probably I still have a screenshot of a NanoFate /u/ thread where I tried to get some feedback about some of their more ridiculous beliefs and all I got in return was "LALALALA!! NANOFATE ARE A MARRIED COUPLE!! IT'S JUST AN UNDENIABLE FACT!! YOU'RE A HOMOPHOBIC TROLL!! LALALA! REPORTED!". From that experience, I've learned to just accept that these kinds of fans exist and nothing I say will change their minds so I usually ignore them. But what I see from others is that they will pretty much put down anyone who has the smallest interest the pairing, which I find just as ridiculous as the NFists who think everybody should just accept N/F as canon.
tl;dr ver.-There wouldn't be a problem if non-fans just stopped acting as if every NF fan is a rabid yuri fan that needs to be blown from this side of the internet. Some of us would like to make a nice comment about a goddamn NF picture every once in awhile without someone downrating our comment or acting as if we're going to troll up the place because we like to see two cartoon girls touching each other.
Why do people keep tagging this as yuri? There's no romantic interaction, no hugging or holding hands or even looking at one another. They look like they're posing for a photo.
Calling it wife_and_wife seems a bit presumptuous. They could very well be a wife and a bridesmaid.
