Oh yeah I remember this. Rinnosuke thought the gameboy kills humans (what he didn't realize that it actually defeats/kills in-game humans/fictional humans)
I had no idea what the heck it was that he was going to destroy until Yukari's note at the end about the 2 screened ones being more fashionable and recent, and how it was meant to play games.

His power is tell what an object does (ie - it's purpose), not how it works, and his power doesn't give him details. This is based on a chapter in Curiosities of Lotus Asia where he discovers a Game Boy.
When he first saw the Game Boy his power told him it has the power "to create, manipulate, and erase worlds", but what his power didn't explain is that the worlds are fictional ("creating a world" is inserting the game cartridge, "manipulating the world" is playing the game, and "erasing a world" is removing the cartridge when you are done playing). As such, he though the Game Boy was a doomsday device of unimaginable power!
Say that to Pierre, 5 years old, my brother, who assasinate my precious Game Boy by throwing it into a wall.
And there's that one Gameboy that survived a explosion.
I should destroy such a dangerous object...!No effect...!?Ahhhhhhh! A living hand!!!You should just retrieve it normally...This item's abilities will destroy the world if it is activated. He didn't have to act that scared...!!
