I still laugh at the amount of people that just didnt bother to read the manga after the original anime series ended. its like people were literally waiting years for Inuyasha to "Finish".
I'm sure great many of us weren't overly ardently waiting for it. The endlessly repetitive plot somewhat killed whatever excitement the series might have had. I'm impressed it managed to finish at all.

Only because Naraku keeps getting "Killed" to near comedy levels its practically an in-joke.

Sort of, but theres a huge difference in time when the anime ended and when Kanketsu-hen started. Its not like the Anime went on a 2-3 month Hiatus. So if you were totally "waiting" for the story to keep going, you might as well have turned to the manga rather than wait for Kanketsu-hen.
Mmm, i remember when i was finishing the series, i went back to reading the manga, and finished it, so i didn't bother to watch the last season (Final one) till they showed the ending, is when i saw it, enjoyed it, and now my over obsesses fan girl of me is now gone, yay?
