He kinda deserves to be shot for composition like that. Team #1 is Reinhardt Rapetime. Who the hell puts Sophia in a dragon team? Anyway, Team #2's just food for Berkut's Lance Florina or the new Felicia. Only Team #3 is generally decently constructed.

If we're taking into account meta units we need to counter and not just color balance and types of damage...
I'd probably look like a walking quiver, to be honest. Whenever I do things like grind the Training Tower or prep for Tempest Trials I just try to get one of each color and a colorless unit. I used that kind of team setup at the start of the game (it's the one the game gives you at the start, with Virion and the three Askrian units), and haven't deviated from it since.
I probably deserve to get shot even more because of my complacency, now that I think of it.

Now, you can reroll training tower, so you might as well take all units of one color and reroll until there are none of the color that it's weak to.
Alternately, just take two dancers, a healer, and one unit to actually train, and have them go to town. I got LA!Hector the day the new LA-focused arena season started, so I power-ground him to L40 and enough SP to buy all his skills in the special arena "the works" mission in about half an hour. You just have him go from the top of the starting area to the right side of the starting area or vice-versa each turn as the cheer squad got him to move 3 spaces per turn and while Maria healed him as he passed, and all the enemy units just splatter against him.
There are specific color only maps in the game though. Just because you won't run it in Arena doesn't mean that the team will be useless for specific comp countering, we even just had event map run where it spawns nothing but greens.

Yeah, but why make that Team #1? That's your "face" team, with the unit that does greetings and represents your team. It's generally your main combat team you use by default when you don't know what's coming, although if you just want to put all your girlfriends/waifus on one team, then Team #1 is where you do it, not #3. You don't want to switch that around with every individual event map, that's what Team #10 is for.
Team #3 is...We're going to spar, 'kaaaay? ♪Let's organize our favorite units! ♪My formation is... there!
