Guess who appears to show up in the opening of part 2 in his human form and appeared to take back one of his rings in the commercial shown in the stream?
Also, Goetia narrates the first commercial for Part 2 and goes full ham in doing so. It. Is. GLORIOUS!
And Chaldea is now completely out of commission, frozen in ice and taken over by the enemy, who have frozen humanity and the planet itself and aim to rewrite history to bring back the Age of Gods or something like it. Da Vinci was killed by Kotomine Kirei, but fortunately she had a (loli) backup body and pulled a Touko. Yourself, her, and Mash escaped with Sherlock Holmes in a goddamn APC, which Da Vinci then drives into the Imaginary Number realm in order to access the Sea of Time itself in lieu of using the Rayshift system. Worry not, Holmes brought along our Servants' Saint Graphs, and hell will we need them and more. We're up against the Servants of an alternate history this time, and aliens/alien gods. One of them, by the name of a certain Anastasia, alone completely trounced Mash and Da Vinci in their first encounter. We'll be visiting among other times the exact time of the Umbral Star's first invasion of Earth. The reign of King David. And this time, possibly Camelot itself, the real one. And more. If Goetia is to be believed, with no allies this time. Strap in gang. This is going to be one wild ride.

The King David one is somewhat uncertain. However, given the theme this time around, it is highly likely given A) The time period does match up properly, B) The aforementioned potential return of Solomon/ Dr. Roman and possibly Goetia as well and C) The death of King Solomon, the King of Magic, officially marked the end of the Age of Gods in the Nasuverse and ushered in the Age of Man. Anyone who wanted to alter history would definitely want to fuck with that point in time, and he was already huge in Part 1. One of the Servants is a hulking brute wielding a club. While it is called Gotterdammerung, it would not be the first time we've had Heroic Spirits from different times fighting in a singularity.
The Chapter names, for those curious. Courtesy of Roadromancer of the FGO subreddit. All will be spoilered, with speculation left unspoilered:
Lostbelt 1: Empress of the Beast Kingdom, Eternally Frozen Empire - Anastasia (AD 1570)
Curiosity value of D. This will be the opening act. Date corresponds to the Massacre of Novograd by Ivan the Terrible.
Lostbelt 2: Undying Flame of ◼◼◼, Century of Endless Fire and Ice - Gotterdamerung (BC 1000)
Curiosity value of B+. This one is the one that is being speculated to take place in Israel, since this is the time of King David who we already have as a Servant, and there is nothing historically significant happening in what will become Norse and Germanic territory at this time.
Lostbelt 3: The Crimson Beauty, True United Country of Human Knowledge - ◼◼◼ (BC 0210)
Curiosity value of E. Speculated to possibly be related to Arcueid or the death of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China, whose date of death corresponds to the singularity's date. Knowing Type-Moon, could be both. Maybe Jin Ke and Lu Bu can finally have some characterization outside of Septem.
Lostbelt 4: The Darkened Final God, Creation Destruction Cycle - ◼◼ ◼◼◼◼◼◼ (?? 11900)
Curiosity value of A. Speculated to be related to the world of NOTES or the Moon Cell.
Lostbelt 5: The Day of shooting down the Gods, Interstellar Metropolitan Mountain Range (BC 12000)
Curiosity value of A+. Dead ringer for The Umbral Star's first attack on Earth.
Lostbelt 6: Time of a Star being born, ◼◼Round Table Region ◼◼◼◼◼◼ ◼ ◼◼ (AD 0500)
Curiosity value of EX. Camelot Mk II, most likely. There was a real life battle at this time that is speculated to be the basis of Arthur's legend.
Every time I think I might be interested in getting back into the Fate series, I see a plot dump like this with its labyrinthine mass of jargon and convoluted re-writing of rules only established five minutes ago, and get sent straight back out into the cold...
Eh, it's not so bad this time. This arc seems specifically set up to explore past momentous events in the Nasuverse, a number of which have already been mentioned either in previous storylines such as the Extra series or references in the form of related Servants already existing. Moreover, the setup feels more like a traditional Holy Grail War than previously due to there actually being Masters other than the protagonist who will presumably be fought, and are currently opposed to the remnants of Chaldea. The method of travel is also interesting, as the medium has been discussed previously but never explored in depth. Other than that, there really isn't anything that new besides the existence of lost, "alternate" histories, which was already revealed in Shimosa in Epic of Remnant. Most of what we're seeing was previously referenced in some form in the Extra series, it's just now being actually explored in depth.
It's this weird gap that the series pandered to both people saying "you need to watch/read/play every Fate products and spend 100 hours reading the wikia to be considered true fan!" and "I'm just here for the boobs and butts, I don't even know what mythology Cu Chulainn is from" that's really offputting, if anything.

I did make some back-track review and note, that since they succeed in preventing the fall of humanity in the future isn't obvious that another side effect would happen? Since it was some form of time travel (maybe)
