I see! So that's why this doujin named as "Kodoku no Mahou". IIRC from reading Nube, "Kodoku" is an ancient Japanese technique where a group of poisonous animals stuffed into a pot or something like that, and then letting them devouring each other. After days have passed, the single, surviving animal from the pot will be taken and dubbed as "Kodoku", for it is incredibly poisonous after devouring other animals.

u put several poisonus insect in one pot then close it, leave it for days so that those insects prey against each other, the last one standing will become so poisonus with grudge(?) I think, from the other insect that it ate, become something like youkai ~ don't know if I'm fully correct =w=/

It's why Hecatia is talking about the practice coming from Junko's land of origin (China).
Something like stuffing a pot with poisonous insects to breed the one with the strongest venom...A sudden chill...!That really is great...Gensokyo is quite interesting after all, isn't it...Indeed...That tiny nook of a Far Eastern island nation is a real melting pot of various gods and youkai.Wriggling about, mutually growing in power...Even in this case, it's because they make full use of their great power that they can cast such a grand sorcery.........I see.Wasn't there a spell like that in your country? What was it again?
