It hasn't been all translated yet, but now I love this artist even more.
Mana is definitely one of my favourite artists. Mainly because they draw a lot of Kaguya x Reisen (my favourite pairing) but also simply because I love their depiction of the Eientei cast. It's nice to see Reisen not being depicted as.. ahem, that-one-bad-fanon-meme-I-don't-want-to-say, and the constant butt of jokes - and instead a resourceful person well-loved by those around her like post #2068785.

Yeah, it's really disappointing to see stuff like that. Underutilization of the characters. But at least we have artists like this that break the ugly Chinese knockoff mould.
I have never understood why people disliked Tewi, at least not on the level some seem people seem to regard her. If you simply consider her nature as a youkai rabbit and her absurdly long life it kind of feels obvious that she plays around as she wants. Focusing on enjoying the now rather than delving on the past. I am guessing most people here had forgotten how short rabbits live and how much of a social creatures they are.
I do hope more folk will read this and get a different perspective on the prankster.
I never felt like Tewi's attidude was odd. Honestly, she is hiding the experience of thousands upon thousands of years where she watched hundreds, if not thousands of companions grow, get old, and then die in front of her. Both youkai rabbits and normal ones. And the only thing she can do, to keep the rest of the rabbits happy, is to smile through it.
You either break or harden up when you experience immense loss. Sure, the scars may fade, but they will never disappear. I cannot even fathom the weight of the baggage Tewi is carrying. I guess she tries to focus on only the now so the weight of the past doesn't crush her.

Always nice to have some dedicated Touhou police, keep up the good work and purge all evil arts from the face of the Earth! The future of Touhou is counting on you.
That's a good point. Well, several good points. To be fair, though, a lot of fans depict Tewi as just a prankster without that context. Makes her seem really petty if one doesn't know better.
