Piece is looking rather stacked for a fairy. Also adding to @SionJack the book is written with Aya's biases, so the book is written from her perspective hence the title "Alternative Facts".

So what, does that mean that Aya likes fairies with sizable assets? Seems suspect.
I don't think it being written by Aya has anything to do with the characters bodies. Going by the other pictures it just seems to be artist preference, just like all the other official works. CP never came off to me as a loli anyways, she seems more teenage looking so I feel kinda vindicated because of this.

Stereotypes maybe. Apparently, when Aya was writing about Miko, she ripped-off an atricle about Trump and edited it where it was necessary. Maybe she got the impression Americans=boobs at that time.

This has nothing to do with the pictures. She didn't draw them.
Amen to that, though for me she kind of leans more towards young adult.
Then again, I always want ALL my Touhous to look adult.
I agree, I imagine her being around 15-17 just by the look of her in the game and in this picture. So her looking like she does in this and this being an official piece makes me happy. Also add that CP here has bigger breasts than most of the touhou cast both drawn by ZUN and drawn by other official artist.
Orin. In official ZUN:stamp of approval works. With 2 cat tails? Sorry for being weird, but that's what does it for me.
So many of his chosen artists have throughout WaHH and FS drawn her without tails, when in full figure, but "under protest"[sic] sneaked in hidden tail(s) on minor cameos, here and there. I always chuckle a bit, when I spot a tail, posing as an extra ribbon in her braid, or something.
I'm assuming ZUN originally designed it so, that in human form(disguise), Orin's tails became the ribbons wrapped around her legs, which I'm guessing is why she was always drawn without. That would be clever design-wise, but...

CP isn't exactly a normal fairy either. She's technically a lampad that's been modified by Junko.
Clownpiece is the same size as the three fairies in VFiS. And while the articles on Afieu are totally canon, the art switches too much to be taken as "proof" for characters' sizes (just look at aya Azuma's pic with Clownpiece and Hecatia). And really, saying she's a lampad is just specifying a sub-species, like "oni" for "youkai". I doubt those are supposed to be loli-like either, but you have Suika.
