Hey, at least it'll make it better for everyone involved. The point of the upgrade was that the straight edge had a higher chance of failing to cut in one go and get stuck. Not really something you want no matter if you're the guy in charge of maintenance or the still living guy with a giant blade lodged halfway through his neck.
