I'm more concerned about when Kosuzu comes to collect the book from Reimu, who points her to Marisa, who then points her to Rinnosuke, and so on... By the time Kosuzu catches up with the book, it would probably be damaged beyond repair, and Reimu is still going to pay for returning the book late (and damaging it).
Also, does Reimu's hair ribbon in the second panel qualify for the "expressive_clothing" tag?

I'd say no, as that droop is in the boundaries of normal positioning for that hair bow, especially as we're seeing her from a different perspective than panel 1.
This actually happened to me once. I lent a book to a friend who lent it someone else who lent it someone else and so on. Eventually my book got lent back to me a few years later and it was in extremely worn and missing quite few pages. Needless to say, I stopped lending things to that friend of mine.
Rinnosuke is more likely to just man-up and admit to the crime (that he did not commit) than try to pin it down to somebody else. Though, since this is futa's "everybody-loves-Raymondsuke world", there's a pretty high chance that Kosuzu would simply make him pay for the book in... another way.
In exchange return it to Suzunaan for me, okay?
Drip
.... Ack! I got careless and let it go all moldy!
Sweat
.... I know!
Sweat
Urgh...I spilled tea on the book I borrowed from Suzunaan...
.... I know!
S-say, Marisa, this book's interesting, so give it a read?
