Aren't most RTS games in general like that? I know that Star Trek: Armada II was a HUGE time waster for me.
considering 1701 is in your nick there, I am not surprised, but I used to always rush to fusion cubes, and just crank out tactical cubes launch a random attack and then fuse them RIGHT THERE. I had so many people disconnecting at that point.

That is pretty evil. I never played online because I didn't get a computer capable of running A2 until after the lawsuit, and by that point I think the servers had been shut down, plus I play with a mod anyway and people apparently don't like that.

It MIGHT have been in the planning stages (IIRC Armada II was relatively well received), but the lawsuit put paid to that.
