Tried playing this game and there is lots of text and story based, completely diffent beast compared to kancolle, fanart will have to do it for the moment I guess.

I started playing a couple days ago and I didn't expect such copious amount of text. It's absolutely crazy.
I am surprised that the game has been around since 2013 and not a single English wikia or anything like that with translations (at least that I know of) hasn't been created. I found this site though and so far I found out if you search a character it has her/his dialogue and stuff if any kind soul out there ever wants to go through the labor of translating it.

I haven't given it a try yet but there seems to be a good forum @ http://gbf-english.proboards.com/ though I haven't looked too deeply...

Yes I found it in the past, but there's not really much out there to "help" EOP, also TGS confirmed a translated version for march 2016, but still a long wait for that, maybe I should keep on trying the hard way.

I added that site to the Danbooru Wiki page because it is really helpful. The ultimate guide on there is a godsend and their work is greatly appreciated. I also recently figured out that the Japanese wiki can be edited by anyone ("編集"; preview is left button and the save is right button). I tested out on Zeta's and Pengi's page.
Also with the English release I'm worried what will happen. It will probably get Puzzle & Dragons treatment where it gets content slower. Will foreign players be able to get a code so data can be transferred to the English version? I don't know how something like that could even work out...
Edit: I looked more into the localization. It turns out that there will not be a new version for English, but an English language option. That is probably the best thing they could have done; I'm so relieved I'll be able to keep my account.
Started playing GBF a week ago and like it. Already got 3 SSR magnas as boss drops and 3 SSR weapons from Suzaku event. Unfortunately not in a guild to participate in Guild War. It's quite simple to play, but challenging since you can leap right into raids to poke bosses to hope to get great loot.

Thats amazing to hear, because I really wanted to get back into the game, but was worried about wasting time on nip client then have to migrate to eng client and start from scratch, thanks for the info.
