*4 Hours later* I just realized that she is shoting off one shot and catching it as it comes back down...apparently you cant to that with ammo that that explodes on impact.
I'm pretty sure it's illegal in most (if not all) areas in the U.S. At the very least, you'll be liable for any injuries/fatalities should they occur (though, naturally, the potential for injury assumes the rather likely case of your not shooting perfectly straight up).

She caught it in the same freaking barrel too. I'm pretty sure that even an ideal Mythbusters setup can't do that.
She is shooting torpedoes - they'd be much less affected by wind and whatnot.
But the surface area of a torpedo is larger than a bullet, so not quite true. Like how a loaded semi is more likely to flip in a windstorm because of its horizontal profile.
