I think that things that have already established millions and millions of mobilized fans for nearly five years, permeated culture with quirky, flashy, already beloved characters and their relationships, shaken and hooked audiences with gruesome plot shifts and weird, murderous, pseudo-sexual, ethical, symbolic, and deific tones, not to mention 3 movies, have somewhat a right to flaunt their incontrovertible influence (as it were recognized by their followers who act as the arm and mouth of the 'things' and their canons) and, again, permeate into newer fads and fictions, newer things, and affect society to some variable degree, so some people shouldn't be asking "Why" this happens, and instead should be researching "How" it happens, considering there is probably evidence around them, say, on a particular image board website. Subsequently, weighing the influence of these "things" warrants verbose, tedious expositions such as this.
