Actually, yes. Pixiv sources point directly to the image file; Danbooru redirects the source link to the page with the image.
I think you're supposed to upload using the direct link then change it to the page containing the image afterward from sites that Danbooru doesn't support automatic redirection with, but I don't do much uploading from places other than Pixiv.

I actually try to fix these.
In this particular case, I was only given a direct image URL.
All I'm saying is that if you source to just the image, how is anyone supposed to know who made it? No one bothered to add the artist's name and reverse image searching isn't giving any clues at all. If sourcing to the direct image is all people do for Tumblr posts, it's no different than not sourcing at all because you can just click the "Size: " link and it does the same thing as what clicking on "Source: " does, more or less.
