Well, I broke my toes once too, it wasn't fun. I needed to get a special letter saying that I can wear sandals in the school just for that. It hurts every step too. But today, I m having a good time with a custom Touhou set for Cards Against Humanity.
Edit: I do question how is it there in America for you guys because Letty is still there?

The poll doesn't break the rules, it just bends them—a lot:
When it comes to bending and breaking...? • Bone-breaking (effort-intense) • Bone-breaking (painful) • Bowing out (crouching)* • Bowing out (leaving)* • Set menu shop (armlock)**
*Originally, "koshi wo oru", which can literally mean "bend at the waist" or "interrupt (a story/topic, etc.)"
No kidding. Negative double digit temperatures, with wind chills nearing -60 F in some areas, plus all the snow we had beforehand.... I just stayed indoors Monday.
Re: comic... ouch, foot injuries are no fun. And I speak from experience. *shudder* That made for an interesting few days at school....
As for the poll, now sounds like a good time to leave.
Never experience a bone fracture before(not that I want), but my friend did. His right foot got ran over by the metal school gate and it took him more than a month to fully recover.

Yeah, we stayed inside on Monday as well. It didn't get down to the double digits, but it was the first time in a long time that the temperature never really got above 0 for the whole day. Fortunately, our neighbor had brought their tractor (with snow blade) over to plow out our driveway the day before, which made it possible for me to get back home on Tuesday, even if "getting home" means going back to a place that is roughly the same temperature but which had about 6 inches of snow instead of the 2 we got up with my family. At least I have my cold-weather gear, so walking into the office won't be too miserable.
I live in Eastern Pennsylvania and normally the few coldest days of the year are around 0 F or -16 C at night. This record-breaking cold had -20 F at night or -30 C.

Letty is leaving... it's colder than normal, but it's not really cold anymore. I was sweating out there today because I left in my winter gear when it was -20°C, and it was -7°C by 11am.
Monday was cold, but I had to go out in the wind and snow squalls, because I had made a promise ten years before to be at the restaurant at the end of the street on that day. Only two other people showed (a third tried but his car battery died).

Could you tell her to stop by Central Europe as well? It's still 5-6°C over here, and it's kinda bugging me...
Because it is +4 deg-fucking-rees Celsius in Moscow now.
Same here in Finland. I don't really mind otherwise, (freezing is not fun) but there's this nationalistic pride about having -15 to -30 degrees Celsius weathers I feel like I'm missing here. I'm also fearing that when Letty finally arrives, she goes all Yandere on us, S-ing us with blizzards until june or something.
Speaking of double digits... I broke my little toe once running into a table in the dark and then broke the same toe a year later slamming it into the wall. It sucks... all you can do is let it heal.
Apparently I like breaking things in twos. I broke both bones on my left arm, both into two places. Then 10 months later I re-broke both in the same places. Managed to break the plates they put in too.

AAAAAAAAAAH Don't make me imagine that! And stop breaking things!

Well, I managed to go from breaking big things (arm bones) to little things (toe bones) so...
