The heads are wildly disproportionate to the body. The limbs are far too long. Nobody is flagging all of f7's works, this one is just unacceptably bad. Do not defend bad art by saying 'hurr alternative style.'
even i have to admit, and im a big fan of f7's work, that this one is a bit too much. Honestly though considering what he does with exagerated bodies its the clothes that really makes this one weird
I fail to see what is the problem with this. The art is good and the only thing people seem to have problems with is the long limbed art style. Many artists draw long legs and arms. Personally I think that it makes the characters look more charismatic and cool. (Some Clamp characters, Lelouch from Code Geass and so on..)
It's pretty much the opposite of chibi. People have no problems with characters being drawn with unnaturally large heads and short limbs but the opposite seems to annoy people :P
All of F7's art is like this, why is this one picture so offensive?
DOCoSPADEo said: Exactly what the Giant Robot is saying. I understand where cd young is kinda coming from. But this is just one terrible piece coming from f7.
Why is it terrible? is it because it's not colored?

I'm serious so I suppose that I'm just that tasteless.. I would agree with you if it was drawn like that by error but personally I don't think that art is bad just because it is intentionally drawn in 1:10 head/heigh ratio instead of 1:7.
If there's one thing significantly different between f7's other images and this one, it's that this image is static. Typically, the rough style adds an overwhelming sense of movement or activity, sometimes with a life of its own, other times enhancing the actions of the character(s) depicted. It provides a powerful frame for the character.
The continuous parallel bars across the background detracts from the benefits of the style by enforcing order that's not there. Their lack of pose also doesn't help.

Also... i would accept a 2,25m ooku, but 3m is damn too high. Godamn it, nazrin is 1,90m
Yea this guy REALLY doesn't get scaling and really this REALLY REALLY extenuates the Noodle People that this guy ALWAYS draws. And really the argument that "STUDIO CLAMP DOES IT THIS WAY!!" is a stupid one as Studio CLAMP doing it just shows how lazy they are with their design...
F7's art looks hilariously sad without all the messy coloring and lines to hide everything. But then again artistic taste is artistic taste, I don't think it should be deleted.
I'm of the same thought as Giant+Robot here, while f7's art-style is somewhat more abstract than the majority, this one is visibly worse than his other works.
Though iirc, this was just a rough doodle he did after he finished the scale template where he just drew the bodies and decided to add heads later.
Having said that, I have no strong opinion whether this should stay or go. I quite like this artist's style though I personally wouldn't approve this image.
While I still think that pictures shouldn't be removed because being drawn in in a larger heigh/head ratio or inking style just because some people don't like that style, after thinking I have to admit that this particular picture is a bit too sketch like and perhaps not worth approving.
Not because of the scale or style of inking but mostly because of being a template. (Or what ever such pictures are called)
