unebi (cruiser)
A Japanese protected cruiser built in France. Launched in late 1886, it mysteriously disappeared on its maiden voyage to Japan with the loss of all hands aboard the ship. Because of the ship's disappearance, the Japanese never worked with French shipyards again and instead entrusted itself to British shipyards.
