self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon

A ground military vehicle with dedicated anti-aircraft capability. Also known as the self-propelled anti-aircraft gun or self-propelled air defense system.

Different from self-propelled artillery, which is cannon-based, its main armament consists of heavy machine guns, autocannons, or surface-to-air missiles. The vehicular platform can be a truck, an armored personnel carrier, or simply a turretless tank chassis.
