/LGBT/ (colloquially known as "/tttt/" or "4tran") is a board located on 4chan. The board, particularly the transgender subset of users, has developed its own culture, terminology and slang that is separate from mainstream LGBT communities, prioritizing brutal honesty over insincere validation. Often described as "pessimistic," "cynical" or "edgy" due to the usage of self-deprecating humor and slurs, in contrast with the optimistic ("hugboxing") nature of mainstream communities.
