The main protagonist of Ultraman Mebius. He is Ultraman Mebius's human form/disguise.
His name is a Japanese Translation of "Future Days".
Mirai's appearance is the result of Mebius mimicking a ship crew member named Ban Hiroto, who sacrificed himself to save his crewmates from a Ultra Zone. By the time Mebius arrived and attempted to save Hiroto, it was already too late as the ship was sucked into the Ultra Zone, leading to Hiroto's death. As a result, Mebius mimicked Hiroto's appearance to honor him and his sacrifice.
