giganotosaurus

A large carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 99.6 to 95 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous. A carcharodontosaurid, it is thought to have been about the same size or possibly slightly larger than the distantly related theropod tyrannosaurus rex, but incomplete remains cast doubt on size estimates.
