frenzy virus (monster hunter)

An infection that appears in Monster Hunter.

It is caused by other creatures (including humans) coming in contact with Gore Magala/Shagaru Magala's scales and pollens, often making them berserk.

Visually it is represented by black/purple particle the Magalas create.
