One of four main protagonists of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, alongside Cai, Leda, and Theodora.

Sailing across the sea from the continent of Fodlan, Dietrich enters the Heroic Games in search of worthy opponents, ever equipped with his signature sword, the answerer. He is accompanied by Fabio, although the two did not previously know each other.
