A 2015 superhero TV series based on DC Comics' Supergirl that aired from 2015 to 2021 for six seasons.
Originally set in a different universe than CW's "Arrowverse", which includes Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, the multiple episodes crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths", but it was eventually combined with them.
The series follows Kara Danvers, a young woman at CatCo Worldwide Media in National City, who is actually a Kryptonian and the cousin of Clark Kent.
