Feeling terribly indulgent so I’m adding a few thoughts about whatever this AU is:

• Jason and zubat are together since Crime Alley. She’s both Jason first pkm, friend and “crime partner”,stealing food or distracting people or cops away for Jason. Both considered of little worth by their surrounding during their early life, they’re extremely proud of how far the other has come.
• Zorua is anxious about evolving because he likes riding on Jason’s shoulders and judging people with the height advantage.
• People who know Jason consider Mimikyu as an odd addition to his roaster. They’re mostly right, however, Jason strongly empathize with a pkm who feels the need to impersonate a popular and cute-looking pkm in order to be loved, or how Mimikyu cherish the rag/veil he hides under.
